Meanwhile, the U.S. is edging closer to calling for an end to the long rule of the Assad family in Syria.
Obama administration officials said the first step would be to declare for the first time that President Bashar Assad has forfeited his legitimacy to rule.
That would be a shift from U.S. statements that demanded that Assad stop a brutal crackdown on peaceful protesters. Those stopped short of saying he had to go.
Tanks and troops have rolled into southern villages near the heart of Syria’s anti-government uprising, and activists said the regime isolated parts of the country.
The military has been sealing off various areas of Syria and conducting house-to-house raids in searches for people whose names are on wanted lists. Many people fled cities and towns for fear of being detained by the Assad regime.
An Egyptian court convicted the country’s former tourism minister of corruption and sentenced him to five years in prison.
He is the second high-ranking official of ex-President Hosni Mubarak’s regime to be convicted of corruption since Mubarak’s Feb. 11 ouster.
Also, the latest figures show inflation in Egypt running above 12% annually and food prices jumping 20%. Both are issues that helped ignite the popular revolution.
NATO warplanes struck a command center in the capital, Tripoli, after pounding regime targets around the besieged port of Misrata.
Rebels hope the stepped-up attacks could help extend some of their biggest advances to date, including a major outward push from Misrata.
The opposition also says it made gains along a long-deadlocked front near Ajdabiya. Moammar Gadhafi, Libya’s autocratic ruler since 1969, has not been seen in public since one of his sons was killed in a NATO air strike April 30.
A NATO official, Italian Brig. Gen. Claudio Gabellini, said the alliance had no evidence to indicate whether Gadhafi is alive or dead.
Yemen stopped producing oil because of internal strife, plunging a nation that already is the Arab world’s poorest into further economic decline as pressure builds on longtime President Ali Abdullah Saleh to step down.
Opponents of the regime, including powerful tribes, appear to be using the oil weapon to press their demand for Saleh’s resignation.
This and more is on the horizon. The earth itself is now the biggest threat to all life on this planet.
Looking at mankind, knowing it is out of harmony, how can anyone expect the home they live upon to be within harmony? The misuse of this planet’s resources by mankind, and the total disregard for it being a natural recycling creation, and the involvement of the LOZ to rectify creation through the use of violence, it all adds doom to its inhabitants – including the animal kingdom, sea life, and insect populations. Yahweh is performing a two-fold process. She is cleansing the earth, and She is altering it in preparation for making it the jewel it once was. Yahweh’s land (She owns everything in creation) has become polluted, and Her temple of worship has become defiled with falsehoods. A pattern was set long ago:
2 Chronicles 34:8 “[ Josiah's Repair of the Temple ] In the eighteenth year of his reign, in order to cleanse the land and the temple, Josiah sent Shaphan son of Azaliah, along with Maaseiah the governor of the city and the recorder Joah son of Joahaz, to repair the temple of the LORD his God.”
First Yahweh CLEANSES. Then She repairs what is wrong by making it conform to Her LAWS that bring harmony to the land ( the earth) and all of creation as a whole.
Proverbs 20:30 “Lashes and wounds purge away evil, and beatings cleanse the innermost parts.”
Daly Belgasami, WFP’s director for the Middle East and North Africa, said disruption in port activities and the lack of fuel and hard currency are expected to exacerbate the humanitarian situation.
There were an estimated 2.5 million third-country nationals working in Libya before the crisis erupted in February, as pro- democracy protests were brutally put down by Moamer Gaddafi’s security forces. Some 500,000 of the foreigners had fled Libya, including those involved in local enterprises such as bakeries and other food production.
‘We are really concerned about the food security of the population,’ Belgasami said Thursday in Geneva.
It is time to make your choice. Do you choose Yahweh’s Sovereign Rule, or Satan’s dying empire? The hour glass is running out of sand, and the hour is late, because you are all living in the symbolic last hour spoken of in the Word. Look at what is happening around you in this wicked world. Don’t turn a blind eye to all of it. Then make your decision.
Satan receives a symbolic last hour to make his stand. That hour began when the LOZ arrived to bring great tribulation with the bowls of anger. Satan is resisting making his stand, but he will be forced to follow through. Due to the earth’s circumstances, food will become scarce, and you will not be able to purchase anything without his mark. But that mark will not doom you – only your heart condition can do that.
Press TV interviewed political commentator, James Morris, regarding NATO and the United States’ involvement in Libya.
Those that are manipulating not only the monetary supply of the world, they are also engaged in manipulating the people of this planet to covertly maneuver the New World Order into place so that they enslave all of mankind to be their worker bees in a world order of overseers that views mankind as slaves to the New World Order. This is Satan’s answer to making his twisted way work in a unified peace. But there will; be no peace on any foundation other than that of Christ’s Jesus whom founded the world as Michael the firstborn Son of Yahweh, the ancient Israel Mother of all creation.
Isaiah 28:16 ‘Therefore the Lord GOD said: “Look, I have laid a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; the one who believes will be unshakable.”
Revelation 17:8 “The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up from the abyss and go to destruction. Those who live on the earth whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will be astounded when they see the beast that was, and is not, and will be present [again].”
The beast that was Michael, yet he is not, because he is part of Christ that was on the earth, yet he is not Christ, but he is present again as Michael the destroyer angel that takes away the evil of creation.
Hebrews 9:26 “Otherwise, He would have had to suffer many times since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared one time, at the end of the ages, for the removal of sin by the sacrifice of Himself.”
Michael split off Christ for removal of sin, yet Christ atoned for sin of those repentant. and his other half removes it. Use insight and all will be clear in your minds. All things are bound up within the Word for those with insight. So who’s foundation, and not Satan’s is destined for the future?
1 Corinthians 3:11 “because no one can lay any other foundation than what has been laid—that is, Jesus Christ.”
“by the sacrifice of Himself.” Michael sacrifices himself in order to accomplish the removal of sin. This is not atonement. It is removal. Removal is ever present where sin is concerned, but atonement came with mercy shown by Yahweh. Removal comes forth by instrument of Yahweh’s choice, shard by the LOZ whom are cleansed of blood guilt by Michael’s sacrifice to return to the pit with those found unworthy of Yahweh’s mercy.
The vote was 10-0 with five abstentions, including Russia and China.
The United States, France and Britain pushed for speedy approval because Muammar al-Qaddafi’s forces are advancing toward opposition-held Benghazi. The Libyan leader vowed Thursday night to oust the rebels from their eastern stronghold.
French Prime Minister Francois Fillon said if the resolution was approved, France would support military action against Qaddafi within hours. The U.S. said it was preparing for action.
Congressional officials, speaking after a briefing for members of the Senates, aid they expected the U.S. effort to enforce a no-fly zone and ground Qaddafi’s air force could begin within a few days.
The United Nations, though imperfect, reflects Satan’s copying of the Seraphic Order that is at the top of the list and is used to keep creations in subjection to Yahweh by following governed law. Satan uses his proxy as a threat to rogue nations that do not follow established protocol. When necessary, he uses his other pawns to bring punishment to bear against those that resist his guidelines laid out for trying to keep his family in harmony. The USA serving as his guidepost for what he would like the world of other governments to resemble, is why the USA tries to impose its “rights” and “laws” upon other nations that do not act in accordance of what is expected. When counties lose wars to Satan’s prototype, and they are reorganized, such as Japan and Germany, Satan models them closely to his own brand of or “way” of life that reflects his prized child – the USA. Since Satan’s demons serve as princes over his different kingdom States, they are expected to try and help bring them into harmony with his prototype. But Yahweh will not permit harmony, and this is why the variations of beliefs and ruler-ships exist within Satan’s kingdom. Yahweh will permit no successful foundation to rule except that of Christ Jesus. Since Satan will not give way to that truth, Yahweh knows that eventually they all must be crushed and put asunder.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Wholesale prices jumped last month by the most in nearly two years due to higher energy costs and the steepest rise in food prices in 36 years. Excluding those volatile categories, inflation was tame.
The Labor Department said Wednesday that the Producer Price Index rose a seasonally adjusted 1.6 percent in February — double the 0.8 percent rise in the previous month. Outside of food and energy costs, the core index ticked up 0.2 percent, less than January’s 0.5 percent rise.
Food prices soared 3.9 percent last month, the biggest gain since November 1974. Most of that increase was due to a sharp rise in vegetable costs, which increased nearly 50 percent. That was the most in almost a year. Meat and dairy products also rose.
Energy prices rose 3.3 percent last month, led by a 3.7 percent increase in gasoline costs.
Separately, the Commerce Department said home construction plunged to a seasonally adjusted 479,000 homes last month, down 22.5 percent from the previous month. It was lowest level since April 2009, and the second-lowest on records dating back more than a half-century.
The building pace is far below the 1.2 million units a year that economists consider healthy.
There was little sign of inflationary pressures outside of food and energy. Core prices have increased 1.8 percent in the past 12 months.
Still consumers are paying more for the basic necessities.
Gas prices spiked in February and are even higher now. The national average price was $3.56 a gallon Tuesday, up 43 cents, or 13.7 percent, from a month earlier, according to the AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge. Rising demand for oil in fast-growing emerging economies such as China and India has pushed up prices in recent months. Turmoil in Libya, Egypt and other Middle Eastern countries has also sent prices higher.
Luke 6:25 “Woe to you who are full now, because you will be hungry. Woe to you who are laughing now, because you will mourn and weep.”
Devastation brings hunger with the collapse of the fishing industry and ruination of the shorelines, and a culmination of other things that are going to shortly take place; this is the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle that swiftly fall into place as:
Isaiah 29:8 “It will be like a hungry one who dreams he is eating, then wakes and is still hungry; and like a thirsty one who dreams he is drinking, then wakes and is still thirsty, longing for water. So will be the multitude of all the nations who go to battle against Mount Zion.”
Violence in Libya is roiling global financial markets today, driving down stock prices and pushing the cost of crude (CL-FT) to above two-year highs as several companies suspend output and fears grow of even more severe disruptions.
Libya is the new focus for the turmoil that began in Tunisia and spread to Egypt, Yemen, Jordan and elsewhere. While oil prices have bounced around amid the trouble, the crisis in Libya has heightened fears of another oil price shock. Libya accounts for 2 per cent of global crude output, and is home to the largest oil reserves in Africa, Globe and Mail writer Tavid Grant reports.
“If this means we see $100 a barrel much sooner than we expect, it is clearly going to impact on global economic recovery,” warned Yusuf Heusen, senior sales trader at IG Index. “This would only hinder share prices in the months to come.”
“There will be no peace on Earth until My Son’s Kingdom. I will crush every kingdom now standing and rock the earth off its foundation. I Yahweh will destroy every enemy to My throne, and who can stop Me? Who can turn back My anger? No one.” – Yahweh
Militiamen loyal to Moammar Gaddafi clamped down in Tripoli, with the sound of gunfire ringing in the air, while protesters who control much of the eastern half of Libya claimed new gains in cities and towns closer to the heart of Gaddafi’s regime in the capital.
Protesters said they had taken over Misrata, which would be the largest city in the western half in the country to fall into their hands. Clashes broke out over the past two days in the town of Sabratha, west of the capital, where the army and militiamen were trying to put down protesters who overwhelmed security headquarters and government buildings, a news website close to the government reported.
A French doctor working in Libya’s eastern city of Benghazi told Le Point Magazine that over 2,000 people were killed in that city alone in the past days of fighting, AFP reported.
“From Tobruk to Darna, they carried out a real massacre… In total, I think there are more than 2,000 deaths,” he said.
The violence worldwide is escalating. All things are falling into place, and Satan cannot alter what is about to take place by using violence to correct his own misguidance. The violence will come from Yahweh’s side of the board.
War is on the horizon. The United States will not be able to avoid what is coming. It will be the final nail in this country’s coffin. They cannot afford to0 fight anther war that will require massive sums of money and all the resources they can muster. We will see Satan’s move on the board when this comes to a head.
(02-20) 10:49 PST CAIRO, Egypt (AP) — Libyan forces fired machine-guns at thousands of mourners marching in a funeral for anti-government protesters in the eastern city of Benghazi Sunday, a day after commandos and foreign mercenaries loyal to longtime leader Moammar Gadhafi attacked demonstrators with assault rifles and other heavy weapons.
A doctor at one Benghazi hospital where many of the casualties are being taken said 20 people were killed Sunday. U.S.-based Human Rights Watch said 173 people died — mostly in Benghazi — in three days of unrest from Thursday through Saturday. A Switzerland-based Libyan activist said 11 people were killed in the city of Beyida on Wednesday. The latest numbers brought the toll to at least 204 since Wednesday, although a precise count has been difficult because of Libya’s tight restrictions on reporting.
The crackdown in oil-rich Libya is shaping up to be the most brutal repression of anti-government protests that began with uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt. The protests spread quickly around the region to Bahrain in the Gulf, impoverished Yemen in the Arabian Peninsula, the North African neighbors of Tunisia — Libya, Algeria, Morocco — and outside the Middle East to places including the East African nation of Djibouti and even China.
Libya’s strongman, Muammar Gaddafi, faces one of his severest challenges amid protests by thousands in the second city of Benghazi, ITAR-TASS reports.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, clashes between anti-governmental demonstrators and security forces continued overnight with thousands on the streets of the eastern city of Benghazi.
During a “Day of Anger” protests were held in five major cities. The demonstrators protest against Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi’s regime, who has been in power for more than 40 years.
