US food supply threatened: Foreign insects, diseases

October 10, 2011 Comments off

The one world currency will soon come into reality, and shortages of food and other items of rationing will require that anyone whom purchases them must have complied with the world government’s mandate so that no one can steal someone else identity and purchase additional items so as to hoard or black market them. Enters the new age of Satan’s mark of the beast. 666 representing the number of a man, being in alignment with Satan as the new ruling authority over all of mankind. Computer chips will be implanted, or Satan’s law will dictate that those refusing must be eliminated.

Dozens of foreign insects and plant diseases slipped undetected into the United States in the years after 9/11, when authorities were so focused on preventing another attack that they overlooked a pest explosion that threatened the quality of the nation’s food supply.

At the time, hundreds of agricultural scientists responsible for stopping invasive species at the border were reassigned to anti-terrorism duties in the newly formed Homeland Security Department — a move that scientists say cost billions of dollars in crop damage and eradication efforts from California vineyards to Florida citrus groves.

The consequences come home to consumers in the form of higher grocery prices, substandard produce and the risk of environmental damage from chemicals needed to combat the pests.

An Associated Press analysis of inspection records found that border-protection officials were so engrossed in stopping terrorists that they all but ignored the country’s exposure to destructive new insects and infections — a quietly growing menace that has been attacking fruits and vegetables and even prized forests ever since.

“Whether they know it or not, every person in the country is affected by this, whether by the quality or cost of their food, the pesticide residue on food or not being able to enjoy the outdoors because beetles are killing off the trees,” said Mark Hoddle, an entomologist specializing in invasive species at the University of California, Riverside.

Homeland Security officials acknowledge making mistakes and say they are now working to step up agricultural inspections at border checkpoints, airports and seaports.

While not as dire as terrorism, the threat is considerable and hard to contain.

Many invasive species are carried into the U.S. by people who are either unaware of the laws or are purposely trying to skirt quarantine regulations. The hardest to stop are fruits, vegetables and spices carried by international travelers or shipped by mail. If tainted with insects or infections, they could carry contagions capable of devastating crops.

Plants and cut flowers can harbor larvae, as can bags of bulk commodities such as rice. Beetles have been found hitchhiking on the bottom of tiles from Italy, and boring insects have burrowed into the wooden pallets commonly used in cargo shipments.

A look at the damage:

  • No fewer than 19 Mediterranean fruit fly infestations took hold in California, and the European grapevine moth triggered spraying and quarantines across wine country.
  • The Asian citrus psyllid, which can carry a disease that has decimated Florida orange groves, crossed the border from Mexico, threatening California’s $1.8 billion citrus industry.
  • New Zealand’s light brown apple moth also emerged in California, prompting the government in 2008 to bombard the Monterey Bay area with 1,600 pounds of pesticides. The spraying drew complaints that it caused respiratory problems and killed birds. Officials spent $110 million to eradicate the moth, but it didn’t work.
  • The sweet orange scab, a fungal disease that infects citrus, appeared in Florida, Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi, which all imposed quarantines.
  • Chili thrips, rice cutworms and the plant disease gladiolus rust also got into Florida, which saw a 27 percent increase in new pests and pathogens between 2003 and 2007.
  • The erythrina gall wasp decimated Hawaii’s wiliwili trees, which bear seeds used to make leis.
  • Forests from Minnesota to the Northeast were also affected by beetles such as the emerald ash borer, many of which arrived in Chinese shipping pallets because regulations weren’t enforced.
In all, the number of pest cases intercepted at U.S. ports of entry fell from more than 81,200 in 2002 to fewer than 58,500 in 2006, before creeping back up in 2007, when the farm industry and members of Congress began complaining. – MSNBC

Hunger crisis grips North Korea as food runs short

October 7, 2011 1 comment

Satan receives a symbolic last hour to make his stand. That hour began when the LOZ arrived to bring great tribulation with the bowls of anger. Satan is resisting making his stand, but he will be forced to follow through. Due to the earth’s circumstances, food will become scarce, and you will not be able to purchase anything without his mark. But that mark will not doom you – only your heart condition can do that.

HAEJU, North Korea — In a pediatric hospital in North Korea’s most productive farming province, children lay two to a bed. All showed signs of severe malnutrition: skin infections, patchy hair, listless apathy.

“Their mothers have to bring them here on bicycles,” said duty doctor Jang Kum Son in the Yellow Sea port city of Haeju. “We used to have an ambulance but it’s completely broken down. One mother traveled 72 kilometers (45 miles). By the time they get here, it’s often too late.”

It’s also getting late for North Korea to get the massive amount of food aid it claims to need before the harsh winter sets in. The country’s dysfunctional food-distribution system, rising global commodities prices and sanctions imposed over Pyongyang’s nuclear and missile programs had contributed to what appears to be a hunger crisis in the North, even before devastating summer floods and typhoons compounded the emergency.

The regime’s appeals for massive food aid have gone mostly unanswered by a skeptical international community. Only 30 percent of a United Nations food aid target for North Korea has been met so far. The United States and South Korea, the two biggest donors before sanctions, have said they won’t resume aid until they are satisfied the military-led communist regime won’t divert the aid for its own uses and progress is made on disarmament talks.

South Korea also says the North is exaggerating the severity of its food crisis. Visiting scholars, tourists and charity workers have sent out conflicting views about it.

The U.N.’s Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), for instance, said last month after visiting the North that “the damage was not so significant.” Another U.N. body, the World Food Programme, which has a regular presence in the North, warned in March of growing hunger. The sharp divergence of views is one reason why the U.N.’s emergency relief coordinator will visit this month to assess the situation.

North Korea’s Economy and Trade Information Center, part of the foreign trade ministry, invited Alertnet to see the extent of the crisis on a rare reporting trip to its rice bowl in South Hwanghae province in the southwest.

Alertnet, a humanitarian news service run by the Thomson Reuters Foundation which covers crises worldwide, saw evidence of alarming malnutrition and damaged crops, but also signs of some promise for the coming rice harvest.

Although tightly controlled by government officials, an Alertnet reporter and Reuters photographers and video journalists were able to conduct a week-long trip into the South Hwanghae region. The visit included rare access to collective farms, orphanages, hospitals, rural clinics, schools and nurseries.

The regime’s motive in granting the access appears to be to amplify its food-aid appeals. North Korean officials at first asked Alertnet to reach out to its subscriber base to mobilize help–and at one point asked the Thomson Reuters Foundation for a donation. Alertnet declined, saying all it could do is visit and report on the situation. – MSNBC

Moscow’s Wild Dogs Ride Subways To City Center In Search Of Food

August 23, 2011 Comments off

But these aren’t just any daily commuters. These are stray dogs who live in the outskirts of Moscow Russia and commute on the underground trains to and from the city centre in search of food scraps.

Then after a hard day scavenging and begging on the streets, they hop back on the train and return to the suburbs where they spend the night.

Experts studying the dogs, who usually choose the quietest carriages at the front and back of the train, say they even work together to make sure they get off at the right stop – after learning to judge the length of time they need to spend on the train.

Scientists believe this phenomenon began after the Soviet Union collapsed in the 1990s, and Russia’s new capitalists moved industrial complexes from the city centre to the suburbs.

Dr Andrei Poiarkov, of the Moscow Ecology and Evolution Institute, said: “These complexes were used by homeless dogs as shelters, so the dogs had to move together with their houses. Because the best scavenging for food is in the city centre, the dogs had to learn how to travel on the subway – to get to the centre in the morning, then back home in the evening, just like people.”

Dr Poiarkov told how the dogs like to play during their daily commute. He said: “They jump on the train seconds before the doors shut, risking their tails getting jammed. They do it for fun. And sometimes they fall asleep and get off at the wrong stop.”

The dogs have also amazingly learned to use traffic lights to cross the road safely, said Dr Poiarkov. And they use cunning tactics to obtain tasty morsels of shawarma, a kebab-like snack popular in Moscow.

With children the dogs “play cute” by putting their heads on youngsters’ knees and staring pleadingly into their eyes to win sympathy – and scraps.

Dr Poiarkov added: “Dogs are surprisingly good psychologists.”  – Sott.net

What have we been saying? Yahweh is directing the animal kingdom – as they begin to starve – towards humankind as a food source. This article is a perfect example. Those once preyed upon will become the predator. Fear of mankind will be lifted from their instinct and survival will become their driving force. Additionally, the pet dogs being abandoned, they will become more fierce than a pack of wolves. Soon, it will be dangerous out doors even in cities where they pack for survival. Humans will become their targets as a plentiful food source as cattle and horses and other livestock perish from the harsh conditions Yahweh is brining upon this planet.

20 Signs That A Horrific Global Food Crisis Is Coming

August 21, 2011 1 comment

The following are 20 signs that a horrific global food crisis is coming….

#1 According to the World Bank, 44 million people around the globe have been pushed into extreme poverty since last June because of rising food prices.

#2 The world is losing topsoil at an astounding rate. In fact, according to Lester Brown, “one third of the world’s cropland is losing topsoil faster than new soil is forming through natural processes”.

#3 Due to U.S. ethanol subsidies, almost a third of all corn grown in the United States is now used for fuel. This is putting a lot of stress on the price of corn.

#4 Due to a lack of water, some countries in the Middle East find themselves forced to almost totally rely on other nations for basic food staples. For example, it is being projected that there will be no more wheat production in Saudi Arabia by the year 2012.
#5 Water tables all over the globe are being depleted at an alarming rate due to “overpumping”. According to the World Bank, there are 130 million people in China and 175 million people in India that are being fed with grain with water that is being pumped out of aquifers faster than it can be replaced. So what happens once all of that water is gone?

#6 In the United States, the systematic depletion of the Ogallala Aquifercould eventually turn “America’s Breadbasket” back into the “Dust Bowl”.

#7 Diseases such as UG99 wheat rust are wiping out increasingly large segments of the world food supply.

#8 The tsunami and subsequent nuclear crisis in Japan have rendered vast agricultural areas in that nation unusable. In fact, there are many that believe that eventually a significant portion of northern Japan will be considered to beuninhabitable. Not only that, many are now convinced that the Japanese economy, the third largest economy in the world, is likely to totally collapse as a result of all this.

#9 The price of oil may be the biggest factor on this list. The way that we produce our food is very heavily dependent on oil. The way that we transport our food is very heavily dependent on oil. When you have skyrocketing oil prices, our entire food production system becomes much more expensive. If the price of oil continues to stay high, we are going to see much higher food prices and some forms of food production will no longer make economic sense at all.

#10 At some point the world could experience a very serious fertilizer shortage. According to scientists with the Global Phosphorus Research Initiative, the world is not going to have enough phosphorous to meet agricultural demand in just 30 to 40 years.

#11 Food inflation is already devastating many economies around the globe. For example, India is dealing with an annual food inflation rate of 18 percent.

#12 According to the United Nations, the global price of food reached a new all-time high in February.

#13 According to the World Bank, the global price of food has risen 36% over the past 12 months.

#14 The commodity price of wheat has approximately doubled since last summer.

#15 The commodity price of corn has also about doubled since last summer.

#16 The commodity price of soybeans is up about 50% since last June.

#17 The commodity price of orange juice has doubled since 2009.

#18 There are about 3 billion people around the globe that live on the equivalent of 2 dollars a day or less and the world was already on the verge ofeconomic disaster before this year even began.

#19 2011 has already been one of the craziest years since World War 2. Revolutions have swept across the Middle East, the United States has gotten involved in the civil war in Libya, Europe is on the verge of a financial meltdown and the U.S. dollar is dying. None of this is good news for global food production.

#20 There have been persistent rumors of shortages at some of the biggest suppliers of emergency food in the United States. The following is an excerpt from a recent “special alert” posted on Raiders News Network….

Look around you. Read the headlines. See the largest factories of food, potassium iodide, and other emergency product manufacturers literally closing their online stores and putting up signs like those on Mountain House’s Official Website and Thyrosafe’s Factory Webpage that explain, due to overwhelming demand, they are shutting down sales for the time being and hope to reopen someday.

So what does all of this mean?

It means that time is short. – Read More at PecanGroup.org

Even Dollar Stores Struggling In ‘Obama Depression’

July 12, 2011 Comments off

More stores across the U.S. that offer deeply-discounted products are seeing their sales decline after years of growth amid America’s “Great Recession” — and one analyst said on Monday it’s another sign of even deeper downturn.

While the demand at stores like the 99-Cent Store or Dollar Tree is still relatively high, the biggest chains in the nation have fallen short of Wall Street’s expectations for several months, a trend that may prove even more ominous for the economy at large.

“I think what’s going on in those stores is that we are in a depression for 80 percent of Americans,” top retail analyst Howard Davidowitz told KNX 1070.

America’s three largest discount chains — Dollar General Corp., Family Dollar Stores Inc. and Dollar Tree Inc. —  all recently missed their quarterly earnings targets.

Davidowitz pointed to the weakness of the dollar and a gloomy consumer outlook as some of the factors behind the stores’ slump.

“In those stores, somebody comes in with $12 to do all their shopping,” said Davidowitz. “The person who used to come in with $12 now comes in with $8.”

“In other words, the economy is continuing to be worse, the Obama depression continues to explode,” he added.

12 Signs the World is Running Out of Food

July 8, 2011 Comments off

#1 More than 3 billion people, close to half the world’s population, live on less than 2 dollar a day.

#2 Over the past year, the global price of food has risen by 37 percent.

#3 Just about every major agricultural commodity has been skyrocketing in price.  Check out what a recent Bloomberg article had to say about what has been happening to many key agricultural commodities over the past year….

Corn futures advanced 77 percent in the past 12 months in Chicago trading, a global benchmark, rice gained 39 percent and sugar jumped 64 percent. There will be shortages in corn, wheat, soybeans, coffee and cocoa this year or next, according to Utrecht, Netherlands-based Rabobank Groep. Prices also rose after droughts and floods from Australia to Canada ruined crops last year. European farmers are now contending with their driest growing season in more than three decades.

#4 According to the World Bank, 44 million more people around the globe have been pushed into extreme poverty since last June because of rising food prices.

#5 Sadly, rising food prices is not a new trend.  According to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, the global price of food has gone up by 240% since 2004.

#6 To a large extent, this global food crisis has been brought on by the greed of the wealthy.  A study by the World Institute for Development Economics Research discovered that the bottom half of the world population owns approximately 1 percent of all global wealth.

#7 The average income per person in the poorest countries on the continent of Africa has fallen by one-fourth over the past twenty years.

#8 It is estimated that over 80 percent of the world’s population lives in countries where the income gap between the rich and the poor is widening.

#9 Approximately 1 billion people throughout the world go to bed hungry every single night.

#10 Every 3.6 seconds someone starves to death and three-quarters of them are children under the age of 5.

#11 It is estimated that the entire continent of Africa only owns approximately 1 percent of the total wealth of the world.

#12 According to the most recent “Global Wealth Report” by Credit Suisse, the wealthiest 0.5% of the global population controls over 35% of all the wealth on the planet.

Those of us that live in wealthy countries have it really good.

We get to shovel huge amounts of food into our faces whenever we want.

But eventually things are going to change for us as well.

World food prices near record high, says UN agency

July 7, 2011 Comments off

Global food prices rose sharply in June, according to the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), after a steep increase in the price of sugar.

The price of sugar rose by 14% last month, as a result of high demand and lower production in Brazil.

The FAO’s food price index reached 234 points in June, close to February’s record level of 239.

The sugar price rise fuelled most of the increase, cancelling out falls in prices of wheat, corn and soya.

The FAO’s measure looks at a range of essential foods, including cereals, oilseeds, dairy, meat and sugar.

High food prices – particularly those of wheat, rice and corn – have sparked civil unrest in a range of countries where people rely on them for the bulk of their food intake.

They were one of the factors that drove people on to the streets of Arab countries earlier this year.

A global food crisis in 2008 also triggered mass protests, including riots in some developing countries.

World cereal output is forecast by the FAO to be 3.3% higher in 2011-12 than in the year before.

The agency’s most recent bi-annual Food Outlook said that spiralling demand meant that global food prices would remain high and volatile throughout this year and into next despite record food production.

The very water, the foods, and each breath of air you each consume on a daily basis is impure in Father’s eyes. This is because the entire world has become impure with the imprint Dawn Lucifer Satan the Devil has placed upon Father’s works brought forth by Michael the Archangel from olden times. Because of this branding of Satan’s imprint upon the creation he coveted without rightful ownership, it must all be destroyed. This world is not only beyond mankind’s and Dawn Lucifer’s repair, it is also like a person with terminal cancer. The dying process of what is upon this planet earth cannot be halted. The earth itself will endure forever, but everything upon and within this planet is slated for destruction.

Food price explosion ‘will devastate the world’s poor’

June 19, 2011 1 comment

Food prices will soar by as much as 30% over the next 10 years, the United Nations and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development have predicted.

Angel Gurría, secretary-general of the OECD, said that any further increase in global food prices, which have risen by 40% over the past year, will have a “devastating” impact on the world’s poor and is likely to lead to political unrest, famine and starvation. “People are going to be forced either to eat less or find other sources of income.”

The joint UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and OECD report predicted that the cost of cereals is likely to increase by 20% and the price of meat, particularly chicken, may soar by up to 30%.

World food prices are already at a near-record high as droughts and floods threaten to seriously damage this year’s harvest. The report said the global harvest is in a “critical” condition and warned that prices will continue to rise until depleted stocks are rebuilt.

Global food prices hit a record high in February, prompting demonstrations across the world. The last extreme food price rise in 2008 led to riots in 20 countries across three continents.

Gurría called on world leaders to ban speculators from pushing up food prices. The G20 will meet in Paris next week to thrash out a deal aimed at imposing strict rules on trading in food commodities and policies that distort global food market.

French president Nicolas Sarkozy has repeatedly attacked hedge funds and specialised financial institutions for pushing up food prices. “Speculation, panic and lack of transparency have seen prices soaring,” he said. “Is that the world we want? France is saying quite clearly it is not.”

He compared the lack of regulation on food price speculators to lax regulation that drove financial markets to the “edge of the abyss” during the 2008 financial crisis.

Crops: Drying a slow death

May 17, 2011 Comments off

Yesterday, on a train from London to the Midlands, I stared out of the window on to a sorry scene of stunted crops and dusty land. This is England in May, where spring ought to look at its freshest. Instead, as any gardener knows, plants that have not been irrigated have given up on life. Cereal crops have decided that they had better reproduce quickly, as best they can under the circumstances, in case they die. They’ve produced small seeds that are too close together and won’t be sheltered from the sun by the usual leaf.

In Hertfordshire, farmer Robert Law expects the yield from wheat sown over winter to be down by 40 per cent. Cereals sown this spring have been practically wiped out. “In an average year, we would have 130ml of rainfall,” he sighs. “This year, we’ve had 7ml.” There isn’t the water to irrigate cereal crops, and it wouldn’t be cost-efficient for him if there were, given the prices the crops fetch.

Usually, only high-value crops such as sugar beet and vegetables receive irrigation; this year, the sprayer booms have been turned on. Even so, as Tim Pratt, farm manager of Wantisden Hall Farms in Suffolk, explains, there is a cost: he has had to employ more labour to do it. Fortunately, reserves of water in and under the ground were topped up in winter. Even so, Richard Scott, chairman of the Suffolk National Farmers Union, speaks of farmers enduring some of the toughest conditions for decades.

“It’s the subject that preoccupies my every waking moment,” laments Peter Melchett, policy director of the Soil Association. Organic farmers tend to plant more of the spring-sown crops which, not having established their root systems, have been decimated. “The dust is unbelievable. It’s a complete nightmare.”

The drought has come just as the nation has been putting the memories of the big Christmas freeze behind it, although – to add insult to injury – my hosts in Derbyshire experienced frost earlier this week. The normal routine of the countryside has gone out of the window, as it seems to have developed the habit of doing in recent years.

Several years ago, bees have started to die off in record numbers. Bees and other beneficial insects are desperately needed so desperately for the world’s food crop supply. Due to crop failures, food will become more valuable than oil. When the crops fail this year from lack of pollination, due to a decline in bees and other beneficial insects, you’re going to hear people proclaiming the end of the world has come.

Albert Einstein once said, “If the Bees died off this planet, Mankind would be extinct in 4 years.”

He knew the importance of keeping nature in balance. The weather is a SIGN of the natural order being out of balance. It is a domino effect. Bees spawn – but high winds, pesticides, and other miscalculations by Man has altered everything for the worst. We are living on a dying planet. You’ll see that truth unfolding this year in the news media as they start to pay attention to what’s really going on.

GRAINS-US soybeans, wheat at fresh 2-1/2 yr highs on supply worries

May 15, 2011 2 comments

SYDNEY, Jan 19 (Reuters) – U.S. soybean and wheat futures hit fresh 2-1/2 year highs in early Asian trade on Wednesday on worries that crops in Argentina, a big exporter of both commodities, are continuing to suffer from insufficient rain. Chicago Board of Trade (CBOY) soybeans for March delivery rose 0.46 percent to $14.19-3/4 per bushel as the focus remained on prospects for drought affected crops in Argentina and a possible deal being announced on U.S soybean exports to China during Chinese President Hu Jintao’s visit to the United States. Wheat for March delivery gained 0.16 percent to $7.94-1/2 per bushel on concerns about tightening world supplies because of possible poor northern hemisphere harvests this year. Corn for March delivery rose 0.04 percent to $6.59-3/4 per bushel, supported by tight global prices.

FUNDAMENTALS

* U.S. corn futures rose 1.7 percent on Tuesday, touching a 2-1/2 year high for the fourth day in a row on concerns that rain in key growing areas of Argentina arrived too late to save the crop.

* Soybean prices also hit their highest level since July 2008 before fading as rain in South America boosted expectations about this year’s soy harvest from that region.

* U.S. wheat futures rose 2.6 percent on Tuesday as purchases from Algeria and Libya cut into the already tight supply of global stocks. Dry conditions in the U.S. Plains added more support to the rally.

* Demand for agricultural commodities has remained high despite the robust prices. The futures market will need to continue to rally to arrest the drawdown of global stocks, which are running at a 15-year low for corn and a 40-year low for soybeans.

* Traders were bullish about new-crop soybean futures due to hopes that new trade deals with China will be announced during Chinese President Hu Jintao’s visit to the United States this week. MARKETS

* U.S. stocks gained on Tuesday, overcoming weak Citigroup results and concerns circling Apple after news of Chief Executive Steve Jobs’ medical leave. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 50.55 points, or 0.43 percent, to end at 11,837.93.

* Central bank buying and strong German economic data pushed the euro to a one-month high above $1.34 on Tuesday, though doubts about Europe’s ability to boost a sovereign rescue fund trimmed its gains in New York trade.

* Brent oil rose on Tuesday, climbing closer to $100 a barrel on concerns about North Sea crude supplies while the resumption of Alaskan oil flows helped ease U.S. crude prices. U.S. crude oil for February delivery fell 16 cents to settle at $91.38 a barrel on Tuesday in seesaw trading between $90.55 and $91.90. The February contract expires on Thursday.

Due to the earth’s circumstances, food will become scarce, and you will not be able to purchase anything without his mark. But that mark will not doom you – only your heart condition can do that.

14 signs that the collapse of our modern world has already begun

#1 – Tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamis – At first it seemed like a fluke; but now it’s a pattern. The weather is becoming increasingly extreme. Over 120 tornadoes recently struck the U.S. Midwest. Texas is on fire and suffering through an extreme drought. And where there aren’t fires and droughts, there are floods. This is only the beginning… watch for more freak weather over the next 18 months.

#2 – The silence of the bees – Colony Collapse Disorder continues to accelerate across North America. We already know it’s being caused in part by chemical pesticides (and possibly worsened by GMOs), but the chemical industry is engaged in a full-on cover-up to deny this truth while the pollinators of our world suffer a devastating population collapse. (http://www.naturalnews.com/028218_p…)

#3 – The failure of nuclear science – The Fukushima catastrophe proves one thing: Scientists are dangerously arrogant in their planning of large-scale projects, and they fail to account for the awesome power of Mother Nature. Nuclear science promised us clean, green energy — but now it has delivered a silent, invisible poison that’s infecting our planet.

#4 – The vicious pursuit of Wikileaks – In an age of such rampant deceit, there is no room for the truth. So those who tell the truth (Wikileaks) are viciously pursued as if they were criminals.

#5 – The rise of the medical police state – The armed SWAT raids on Maryanne Godboldo in Detroit are only the beginning (http://www.naturalnews.com/032091_M…). The truth is that the medical system uses guns to force its vaccines and chemotherapy onto children and teens across America. The medical system has become so utterly useless, corrupt and dangerous that it must actually invoke guns in peoples’ faces just to “convince” people to take its medicine. This is a gunpoint-enforced medical monopoly that exists as a threat to our health and our freedoms.

#6 – The increasing frequency of food shortages and crop failures – Notice the spike in food prices? That’s just the beginning: Food prices will continue to skyrocket in the years ahead due to extreme weather, the loss of pollinators and the global contamination of crops by GMOs. Real food is becoming increasingly scarce in our world. You might want to think about starting a home garden…

#7 – The runaway destruction of the world by energy companies – The radioactive fallout from Fukushima isn’t the only way in which energy companies are destroying our world: Don’t forget about the Deepwater Horizon and the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico — a spill that isn’t over, by the way. They’re still spraying Corexit in the Gulf one year later!

#8 – The continued GMO contamination of our planet – This may be the worst chapter in the coming collapse: The widespread genetic pollution of our planet through GMOs. This is a crime against nature and against humanity. It is a “gene spill” that may never be contained as it spreads its deadly DNA across the world’s food crops, leading to crop failures and starvation (http://www.naturalnews.com/032167_g…). The use of GMOs is the closest thing to “Satanic” that you’ll find in modern agriculture. The agenda behind this is pure evil.

#9 – The tyranny and criminal crackdowns targeting real food (raw milk) – When you can’t even sell honest farm food to your neighbors without being targeted and arrested by the cops, something is terribly wrong with the world. But this is happening today, all across America. Now the feds are even targeting the Amish! (http://www.naturalnews.com/029322_r…)

#10 – The escalation of the counterfeiting of the money supply – In a failed economic system approaching collapse, the moronic leaders can only think of “solutions” that actually accelerate their own downfall. The runaway counterfeiting of money by the Federal Reserve (with its “quantitative easing” and other counterfeit methods) is a classic sign that the end of our current system is fast approaching. The economic insanities are obvious to anyone who can still do math.

#11 – The plummeting intelligence of the masses – One of the most disturbing signs that we’re already in the collapse is the great dumbing-down of the masses. The drooling, CNN-watching television zombies who dominate our landscape offer absolutely nothing of value to the world. They are the “mindless consumers” who get vaccinated, watch television and eat processed, pasteurized junk food. They’re on psychiatric meds and believe everything the government tells them. Most of these people, of course, won’t make it through the collapse.

#12 – The complete and utter fabrication of the mainstream news – Much of the mainstream news is now utterly and completely fabricated these days: The reporting on Obama’s long-form birth certificate; the news about the war in Libya; the coverage of the economy and the U.S. debt… it’s all so utterly false and unbelievable that an intelligent person watching the news can’t help but explode with laughter. It is a sign of this collapse that the information sources relied upon by the masses are unable to report the truth anymore and must resort to weaving politically expedient fictions on everything from health care and medicine to the fate of the U.S. dollar itself.

#13 – The ongoing pharmaceutical pollution of our world – Beyond the GMO contamination and the radiation contamination of our world, we are also experiencing the mass pharmaceutical contamination of our planet. It’s not just the pharma factories that dump their products into the rivers (http://www.naturalnews.com/025415_w…); it’s also the fact that well over half the population is now taking drugs almost daily, and those drugs pass right through their bodies and end up in the water supply where they contaminate the fish (http://www.naturalnews.com/025933.html). Even beyond that, the drugs end up in the human sewage sludge that’s packaged and sold as “organic soil!” (http://www.naturalnews.com/029504_o…)

#14 – The radioactive contamination of the global food supply – Here’s one that’s really insidious: The global food supply is now contaminated with the radioactive fallout from Fukushima. We’re told the levels are “low,” but we’re not told the truth of how radioactive cesium isotopes persist in the food supply for centuries. How is the human race going to survive its exposure to CT scans, radioactive food, chest X-rays, TSA body scanners and even the secret DHS mobile X-ray vans that can penetrate your body with X-rays as you’re walking into a football stadium? The total radiation burden on the human race is now reaching a point of mass infertility. That may be the whole idea, actually.

It’s accelerating, too

Job 14:17-19 (Holman Christian Standard Bible) “My rebellion would be sealed up in a bag,and You would cover over my iniquity. But as a mountain collapses and crumbles and a rock is dislodged from its place, as water wears away stones and torrents wash away the soil from the land, so You destroy a man’s hope.”

The “hope” is for the remnant, not this rebellious dying world, where some cling to nothing but “Jesus will save me if only I believe what the preachers tickle my ears with.” They are receiving what they have bargained for by following Satan’s lead and scoffing at Yahweh’s Divine Counsel in Her Word by listening to the blind leaders that claim to know the Truth but have proved false to the Power of our Grand Creator.

Renowned economist’s outlook darkens on global food prospects

March 26, 2011 Comments off

Put your money on food, not fighting.

Investments in ways to boost agriculture productivity in the poorest areas of the world will go further towards long-term global security than the millions of dollars a year spent on intensive military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, says Jeffrey Sachs, the renowned Columbia University economist and special adviser to United Nations’ Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

In light of recent food price spikes – some of which exceed the peaks reached during the now notorious food crisis of 2008 – and the continuing political instability in the Middle East, Dr. Sachs’s outlook was markedly darker than usual during a video talk he delivered Friday to a gathering on food scarcity and global security held at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto. Despite his trademark frankness in articulating global challenges, Dr. Sachs has traditionally been an optimist.

“Something very dramatic is happening,” he warned a rapt audience. “We’ve entered a new global scenario with respect to food, hunger and conflict … an era where things are likely to get tougher, not easier, in terms of production,” he said. “We’re hitting boundaries that are very important to understand and very important to counteract.”

Chief among those is the fact that global demand for food – and the agricultural commodities used to produce it – is outpacing the growth of supplies. The onset of climate change, which affects everything from the water supply to crop yields, is a ballooning wedge that will continue to force those trend lines in opposite directions, Dr. Sachs said.

Yahweh has been bringing to birth Her prophecy that everything died in the sea. This is just one more nail in the coffin that will bring about the desired result. The destruction of one single ecology like is happening in the Gulf and other oceans at present will have a domino effect on the rest of the fragile lifeforms that exist in the food chain on a global scale.

Worst Texas Drought in 44 Years Damaging Wheat Crop, Reducing Cattle Herds

March 24, 2011 Comments off

The worst Texas drought in 44 years is damaging the state’s wheat crop and forcing ranchers to reduce cattle herds, as rising demand for U.S. food sends grain and meat prices higher.

Texas, the biggest U.S. cattle producer and second-largest winter-wheat grower, got just 4.7 inches (12 centimeters) of rain on average in the five months through February, the least for the period since 1967, State Climatologist John Nielsen- Gammon said. More than half the wheat fields and pastures were rated in poor or very poor condition on March 20.

Dry conditions extending to Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado may cut crop yields in the U.S., the world’s largest exporter, as too much moisture threatens fields in North Dakota and in Canada. Wheat futures in Chicago are up 50 percent in the past year, after drought in Russia and floods in Australia hurt output and sent global food prices surging. Wholesale beef reached a record this week, and the U.S. cattle herd in January was the smallest since 1958.

Revelation 16:10, 11 “The Fifth Bowl
The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. People gnawed their tongues from pain and blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, yet they did not repent of their actions.”

The unbalanced rains of toxins will cause rivers to dry up as droughts become the norm, and this will culminate into war; world domination for what dwindling resources are left intact; in addition, this is prompted by three of Dawn’s demon commanders that travel to the leaders of this planet to compel them to wage war against other nations and warn them that they must also war against the LOZ:

Revelation 16:12-14 “The Sixth Bowl
The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the east. Then I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [coming] from the dragon’s mouth, from the beast’s mouth, and from the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons performing signs, who travel to the kings of the whole world to assemble them for the battle of the great day of God, the Almighty.”

UN alarmed at huge decline in bee numbers

March 10, 2011 Comments off

GENEVA (AFP) – The UN on Thursday expressed alarm at a huge decline in bee colonies under a multiple onslaught of pests and pollution, urging an international effort to save the pollinators that are vital for food crops. Much of the decline, ranging up to 85 percent in some areas, is taking place in the industrialised northern hemisphere due to more than a dozen factors, according to a report by the UN’s environmental agency. They include pesticides, air pollution, a lethal pinhead-sized parasite that only affects bee species in the northern hemisphere, mismanagement of the countryside, the loss of flowering plants and a decline in beekeepers in Europe. “The way humanity manages or mismanages its nature-based assets, including pollinators, will in part define our collective future in the 21st century,” said UNEP executive director Achim Steiner. “The fact is that of the 100 crop species that provide 90 percent of the world’s food, over 70 are pollinated by bees,” he added. Wild bees and especially honey bee colonies from hives are regarded as the most prolific pollinators of large fields or crops. Overall, pollinators are estimated to contribute 153 billion euros ($212 billion) worldwide or 9.5 percent of the total value of food production, especially fruit and vegetables, according to the report. Honey bee colony declines in recent years have reached 10 to 30 percent in Europe, 30 percent in the United States, and up to 85 percent in Middle East, said scientist Peter Neumann, one of the authors of the first ever UN report on the issue.

Isaiah 51:11 “And the ransomed of the LORD will return and come to Zion with singing, crowned with unending joy. Joy and gladness will overtake [them], and sorrow and sighing will flee.”

The sorrow, the sighing, it ends after the ransomed have left Satan’s corrupt world this side of Armgeddon, not before.

Yahweh caused the plagues of ancient Egypt to deliver His people from bondage, and He again brings retribution against modern day Egypt (the entire world of people that do not obey His will by coming to an accurate knowlege and understanding of His will and His true intentions for all of creation. Keep in mind that Yahweh is concerned with all of His creation, including the welfare of this planet; He noted that there are those that are ruining it and He will bring those to ruin that are doing so.

Economists Urge Obama Not to ‘Overreact’ to High Food Prices

March 7, 2011 Comments off

Leading advocates for the world’s poorest and hungriest are urging President Obama not to “overreact” to recent spikes in food prices, particularly by imposing export bans on U.S. agricultural products.

In its February report, the World Bank noted “sharp increases” in the global prices of wheat, maize, sugar, and edible oils over the last six months, with an accompanying rise, albeit smaller, in the price of rice. The bank’s food price index surged by 15 percent over the last quarter of 2010, and stands only three percentage points below its peak, reached in June 2008. Since then, an estimated 44 million people in developing countries have fallen below the poverty line.

Rising food prices have been linked to the unrest that has swept through the Middle East and North Africa in recent weeks. In most of the uprisings, calls for greater personal and political freedoms have been accompanied by complaints about unaffordable staple food prices.

Asked by FOX News how they would advise the Obama administration to contend with the spikes – which have as much to do with natural disasters and weather shocks as with human factors – both Hassan Zaman, lead economist at the World Bank’s Poverty Reduction and Equity Group, and Manuel Hernandez, a postdoctoral fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), said they would caution the president not to manipulate food markets with trade policy.

“I would tell him, ‘Try to not overreact to the increasing prices we are seeing right now,’” said Hernandez, a Peruvian-born economist educated at the University of Texas. “We should expect fluctuations, but we shouldn’t exacerbate these fluctuations by…imposing obstructions to the market that could make things worse…The situation is not the same as in 2007 and 2008. So there is no major concern that we should worry about another food crisis.”

The United States is what Satan envisioned for the entire world. He hates to let go and give up that vision. But Yahweh says this country cannot stand for much longer. It is yet another stripping of Satan’s valuables that he loves and wants to continue to hold as a prized possession. The USA is like his first born Son. He spent much time in bringing it to life. It followed his own rebellion from a Royal Crown. Not wanting to pay his taxes to Mother Israel. The USA wanting out from under England’s tax. Satan inspiring his original position as a bringer of light to mankind to serve as its governor and to enlighten under Yahweh’s Way, before he went off course and thereby went sour. But still, he held on to that vision though twisted, and the statue of Liberty represents his own liberty from Yahweh’s Royal Crown. And with the knowledge he took with him from the heavens, he passed the power he passed on to mankind. Everything mankind has achieved, it can be traced back to the heavens, in birth the spirit realm and the visible realm, because in truth, they are the same,. They are interchangeable with one another. You are robbed of the ability to go in and out of both realms,. just as Christ was able to do after his reanimation. That is the TRUTH. Yahweh offers much through Christ, but Satan is only offering a cheap copy of the other side that lack the benefit package that comes with Christ’s Rule.

Food prices hit highs as oil rises

March 6, 2011 Comments off

WORLD food prices have hit new records and oil price spikes could push them even higher, the UN food agency warned as unrest in the Middle East and North Africa hits markets.

The Food Price Index, which monitors average monthly price changes for a variety of key staples, rose to 236 points in February from 231 points in January, the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said.

It was the highest level since FAO began monitoring prices in 1990.

“Unexpected oil price spikes could further exacerbate an already precarious situation in food markets,” David Hallam, director of the Rome-based FAO’s trade and market division, said.

“This adds even more uncertainty concerning the price outlook just as plantings for crops in some of the major growing regions are about to start.”

Crude prices pushed higher Thursday amid fighting in oil-rich Libya. New York’s main contract, light sweet crude oil for April delivery, rose to $102.56 and Brent North Sea crude for April was up at $116.65.

“Persistent uncertainty in the region continues to support fears of contagion,” British bank Barclays Capital said in a report.

“Lost output from countries like Libya and the increasing likelihood of a pushback in foreign investment is set to support longer-term prices,” it said.

The International Energy Agency said oil exports from Libya had been cut by between 850,000 and one million barrels per day, out of a total of 1.6 million barrels sent mostly to European buyers before the uprising.

Satan wants his empire to flourish and be like Yahweh’s spirit realm and the rest of creation in the expanse, but the way he leads, and the factions within his family, it cannot be achieved. Everything you have read or seen about Satan and his demons in this world, it is all fictitious.

Even so, Satan does have factions within his spiritual family of follower. They too cause problems for him and mankind, but, Satan’s goal is to resemble Yahweh in all things, including a realm that is run by laws.

And with the knowledge he took with him from the heavens, he passed the power he passed on to mankind. Everything mankind has achieved, it can be traced back to the heavens, in bith the spirit realm and the visible realm, because in truth, they are the same. They are interchangeable with one another. You are robbed of the ability to go in and out of both realms, just as Christ was able to do after his reanimation.

Food prices to skyrocket, riots could follow, suggests USDA

March 2, 2011 Comments off

(NaturalNews) When the upswing in commodity prices eventually makes its way throughout the food system in mid-to-late 2011, food prices are sure to spike with levels potentially reaching those of 2008, announced U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) economist Ephraim Leibtag at the agency’s annual Outlook Forum. And if conditions escalate rapidly, there is also the potential for food riots and other civil unrest.

Shared with our ministry about four years ago by Yahweh’s Holy Angels: “Get ready for what’s just ahead. New germs are going to make havoc on the meat supply as well as the failure of crops due to not only drastic weather conditions, but failure of pollination needed due to the bee die-offs, for most growers around the globe. Climate change is about to become dramatic as the melting glaciers play a part in Father’s work of altering the weather and climate. The worst is yet to come, and is non-preventable by man; the most this dying generation can do is to ration what little will be available. In the nations that are already starving and millions will perish. The World Food Bank is almost depleted, and there will be no relief in re-building the needed staples.  Contagious diseases will kill livestock, humans, and a world already in trouble will finally lose hope. The Earth will be changed as tidal waves, volcanoes, massive tornadoes and other acts of nature are released upon this unfaithful generation. Father is moving this world of people towards all out anarchy as the Wrath grows near for execution of His vengeance upon those that will be left behind in this world.”

Anti-government protests break out in Lebanon

February 28, 2011 Comments off

BEIRUT – Hundreds of Lebanese protested in the capital Beirut on Sunday against the country’s sectarian political system.

Emulating protests that have spread across the Arab world in recent weeks, some Lebanese protesters chanted the now-familiar refrain of “The people want to bring down the regime”.

Lebanon is governed by a delicate power-sharing system to maintain the balance between the country’s many sects. It is unlike many other Arab countries where protests have been against rulers who have governed for decades.

“We are here to bring down the sectarian system in Lebanon because it is more of a dictatorial system than dictatorship systems themselves,” said protester Rahshan Saglam.

Lebanon suffered a 15-year civil war which ended in 1990 and killed 150,000 people. Major sectarian violence, threatening to tip the country into a new civil war, also broke out in 2008.

The organizers handed out a leaflet saying they demanded a “secular, civil, democratic, socially just and equal state” and called for an increase in the minimum wage and lower prices for basic goods.

Isaiah 17:12 “[ Judgment against the Nations ] Ah! The roar of many peoples— they roar like the roaring of the seas. The raging of the nations— they rage like the raging of mighty waters.”

If you march in protest of something, make it count for what is most important. Demand that your governments surrender to Yahweh’s LOZ and accept the incoming governmental rule of Christ Jesus. Any government that publicly acknowledges Christ as the Sovereign King over Yahweh’s creation will be spared from the coming wrath.

Starving N. Korea begs for food, but U.S. has concerns about resuming aid

February 20, 2011 Comments off

TOKYO – North Korea recently took the unusual step of begging for food hand-outs from the foreign governments it usually threatens.

Plagued by floods, an outbreak of a livestock disease and a brutal winter, the government ordered its embassies and diplomatic offices around the world to seek help.

The request has put the United States and other Western countries in the uncomfortable position of having to decide whether to ignore the pleas of a starving country or pump food into a corrupt distribution system that often gives food to those who need it least.

The United States, which suspended its food aid to North Korea two years ago amid concerns about transparency, “has no plans for any contributions at this time,” said Kurt Campbell, the State Department’s top East Asia official.

Food Shortages And Global Economic Riots In 2011

February 19, 2011 Comments off

Before this year ends the United States will declare marshal law. They are already preparing for what they know cannot be avoided. The roaring of the people of other nations is the model that will span the globe as all countries feeling the crunch of these economic times feels the pangs of distress from the rippling waves of its discontented citizens. The Word states:

Isaiah 17:12 “[ Judgment against the Nations ] Ah! The roar of many peoples— they roar like the roaring of the seas. The raging of the nations— they rage like the raging of mighty waters.”

Food prices push 44 million into poverty

February 19, 2011 Comments off

Rising food prices have pushed about 44 million people into poverty in developing countries since last June, the World Bank warned Tuesday.

Food costs are continuing to rise to near 2008 levels, when price spikes in food and oil had devastating impacts on the poor, the development lender said, noting its numbers were released ahead of a Group of 20 finance chiefs meeting this week.

“Global food prices are rising to dangerous levels and threaten tens of millions of poor people around the world,” World Bank president Robert Zoellick said in a statement.

“The price hike is already pushing millions of people into poverty, and putting stress on the most vulnerable, who spend more than half of their income on food.”

According to the bank’s latest Food Price Watch, prices rose by 15 percent between October 2010 and January 2011.

Soaring Food Prices Could Spread Unrest To Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa

February 18, 2011 Comments off

Spiking food prices are pushing tens of millions of people throughout the globe into poverty, and threaten to spread unrest in the Middle East further afield to sub-Saharan Africa and Central Asia, according to the head of the World Bank, Robert Zoellick.

“I’m concerned that higher food prices add to stress points and could add to the fragility that is already and always there any time you have revolutions and transitions,” said Zoellick. “What I’m actually more concerned about is looking ahead. As you see, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, other societies, struggle to try to develop responses to these social and public pressures.”

in the months since June 2010, 44 million people have fallen into poverty as a direct result of increasing food prices, according to World Bank Vice President for Poverty Reduction Otaviano Canuto.

In fact, “the increase over the last quarter is driven largely by increases in the price of sugar (20 percent), fats and oils (22 percent), wheat (20 percent), and maize (12 percent),” wrote Canuto.

Food prices are just three percentage points under the 2008 peak that saw bread riots across the world — including the Middle East and North Africa.

Analysts are now concerned that spiking food prices will not only exacerbate poverty rates, but also stoke the fires of instability that have engulfed the Middle East.
