Mitt Romney Embraces Climate Denial: ‘We Don’t Know What’s Causing Climate Change’

October 28, 2011 Comments off

Mother is using this ministry to bring forth Her prophecy. There is a reason people will blaspheme Her. It is this ministry’s duty to drop the spiritual hailstones that are a wake up call. The physical enormous hailstones follow our message to mankind. Mother wants people to know who the calamities have been coming from and who they will continue to come from:

Revelation 16:21 “Enormous hailstones, each weighing about 100 pounds, fell from heaven on the people, and they blasphemed God for the plague of hail because that plague was extremely severe.”

Severity is about to become much worse. Satan is not the cause, and Mother wants everyone to know that it comes directly from Her – The One in control, and the One whom is nature. Then, this will come to pass as well:

Psalm 83:18 “May they know that You alone— whose name is Yahweh—are the Most High over all the earth.”

WASHINGTON — Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney broke with Republican orthodoxy this summer, telling a crowd in Manchester, N.H., that humans are at least somewhat responsible for climate change. Now Think Progress reports he’s reversing his position, arguing “we don’t know what’s causing climate change.”

“My view is that we don’t know what’s causing climate change on this planet,” he said at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. “And the idea of spending trillions and trillions of dollars to try to reduce CO2 emissions is not the right course for us. My view with regards to energy policy is pretty straightforward: I want us to become energy secure and independent of the oil cartels.”

The remarks come in stark contrast to his stated energy policy priorities.

“I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that,” he said at a town hall this June. “It’s important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may be significant contributors.”

With his fellow GOP presidential contenders engaging in different shades of climate denial, Romney has distanced himself from those remarks. In an Oct. 3 interview with the New Hampshire Union Leader posted online Thursday night, he elaborates on his new position on global warming.

“I say it’s probably happening, all right? I think it’s happening,” he said when questioned about a passage in his 2010 book “No Apology” that deals with climate change.

“You said in June you believe the world is getting warmer and that humans have contributed to that,” noted one reporter, quoting a line that comes directly from his book.

“And continue to the next line after that,” Romney pressed.

“It’s important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may be significant contributors,” said the reporter.

“I say in the book three things,” said a frustrated Romney. “One, I believe what I said before, I think it’s getting warmer. Two, I believe we contribute to it. And three, I don’t know by how much — a lot or a little. And I am not willing to adopt multitrillion dollar programs to reduce greenhouse gases in America. They don’t call it America warming, they call it global warming.”

As president, Romney added, he would “aggressively develop oil and gas, as well as use our coal resources.” Nuclear too would be a priority, though he said that it would require a long lead time.

“Of course I like the renewable resources, but I’m not in favor of sending checks for half a billion dollars as a venture capitalist to various favored solar companies,” he said, in a conspicuous reference to Solyndra.

Romney’s climate denial puts him in line with most every other contender in the Republican presidential field.

Herman Cain has called the very premise of climate change “a scam,” while former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) has referred to it as nothing more than a “trend,” accusing the left of “taking advantage” of it by creating “a beautifully concocted scheme because they know that the earth is gonna cool and warm.”

Back in 2009, meanwhile, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) argued on the House floor that the very concept of global warming is faulty because “carbon dioxide is a natural byproduct of nature!”

In an August stump speech, Texas Gov. Rick Perry took the skepticism about climate change one step further, telling a New Hampshire business crowd that scientists have cooked up the data on global warming for the cash.

“We’re seeing weekly, or even daily, scientists who are coming forward and questioning the original idea that man-made global warming is what’s causing the climate to change,” Perry said at the time. “Yes, our climates change. They’ve been changing ever since the earth was formed.”

Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) has become increasingly skeptical of climate change, calling it “the greatest hoax I think that has been around for many, many years, if not hundreds of years,” in a 2009 interview with Fox News.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) appeared alongside former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in a 2008 ad that urged the country to address climate change, but has since switched to denial.

Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman is the only mainstream Republican presidential contender who has been outspoken about the need for climate action, calling Republicans’ failure to address climate change at the national level “immensely frustrating.” Within the GOP presidential field, he’s green advocates’ best hope. – HuffingtonPost

Disasters in US: An extreme and exhausting year

September 3, 2011 Comments off

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nature is pummeling the United States this year with extremes.

Unprecedented triple-digit heat and devastating drought. Deadly tornadoes leveling towns. Massive rivers overflowing. A billion-dollar blizzard. And now, unusual hurricane-caused flooding in Vermont.

If what’s falling from the sky isn’t enough, the ground shook in places that normally seem stable: Colorado and the entire East Coast. On Friday, a strong quake triggered brief tsunami warnings in Alaska. Arizona and New Mexico have broken records for wildfires.

Total weather losses top $35 billion, and that’s not counting Hurricane Irene, according to the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration. There have been more than 700 U.S. disaster and weather deaths, most from the tornado outbreaks this spring.

Last year, the world seemed to go wild with natural disasters in the deadliest year in a generation. But 2010 was bad globally, and the United States mostly was spared.

This year, while there have been devastating events elsewhere, such as the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Australia’s flooding and a drought in Africa, it’s our turn to get smacked. Repeatedly.

“I’m hoping for a break. I’m tired of working this hard. This is ridiculous,” said Jeff Masters, a meteorologist who runs Weather Underground, a meteorology service that tracks strange and extreme weather. “I’m not used to seeing all these extremes all at once in one year.”

The U.S. has had a record 10 weather catastrophes costing more than a billion dollars: five separate tornado outbreaks, two different major river floods in the Upper Midwest and the Mississippi River, drought in the Southwest and a blizzard that crippled the Midwest and Northeast, and Irene.

What’s happening, say experts, is mostly random chance or bad luck. But there is something more to it, many of them say. Man-made global warming is increasing the odds of getting a bad roll of the dice.

Sometimes the luck seemed downright freakish.

The East Coast got a double-whammy in one week with a magnitude 5.8 earthquake followed by a drenching from Irene. If one place felt more besieged than others, it was tiny Mineral, Va., the epicenter of the quake, where Louisa County Fire Lt. Floyd Richard stared at the darkening sky before Irene and said, “What did WE do to Mother Nature to come through here like this.”

There are still four months to go, including September, the busiest month of the hurricane season. The Gulf Coast expected a soaking this weekend from Tropical Storm Lee and forecasters were watching Hurricane Katia slogging west in the Atlantic.

The insurance company Munich Re calculated that in the first six months of the year there have been 98 natural disasters in the United States, about double the average of the 1990s.

Even before Irene, the Federal Emergency Management Agency was on pace to obliterate the record for declared disasters issued by state, reflecting both the geographic breadth and frequency of America’s problem-plagued year.

“If you weren’t in a drought, you were drowning is what it came down to,” Masters said.

Add to that, oppressive and unrelenting heat. Tens of thousands of daily weather records have been broken or tied and nearly 1,000 all-time records set, with most of them heat or rain related:

— Oklahoma set a record for hottest month ever in any state with July.

— Fairbanks, Alaska, hit 97 degrees on July 11, a record.

— Houston had a record string of 24 days in August with the thermometer over 100 degrees.

— Newark, N.J., set a record with 108 degrees, topping the old mark by 3 degrees.

Tornadoes this year hit medium-sized cities such as Joplin, Mo., and Tuscaloosa, Ala. The outbreaks affected 21 states, including unusual deadly twisters in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Massachusetts.

“I think this year has really been extraordinary in terms of natural catastrophes,” said Andreas Schrast, head of catastrophic perils for Swiss Re, another big insurer.

One of the most noticeable and troubling weather extremes was the record-high nighttime temperatures, said Tom Karl, director of NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center. That shows that the country wasn’t cooling off at all at night, which both the human body and crops need.

“These events are abnormal,” Karl said. “But it’s part of an ongoing trend we’ve seen since 1980.”

Individual weather disasters so far can’t be directly attributed to global warming, but it is a factor in the magnitude and the string of many of the extremes, Karl and other climate scientists say.

While the hurricanes and tornado outbreaks don’t seem to have any clear climate change connection, the heat wave and drought do, said NASA climate scientist Gavin Schmidt.

This year, there’s been a Pacific Ocean climate phenomenon that changes weather patterns worldwide known as La Nina, the flip side to El Nino. La Ninas normally trigger certain extremes such as flooding in Australia and drought in Texas. But global warming has taken those events and amplified them from bad to record levels, said climate scientist Jerry Meehl at the National Center for Atmospheric Research.

Judith Curry of Georgia Tech disagreed, saying that while humans are changing the climate, these extremes have happened before, pointing to the 1950s.

“Sometimes it seems as if we have weather amnesia,” she said.

Another factor is that people are building bigger homes and living in more vulnerable places such as coastal regions, said Swiss Re’s Schrast. Worldwide insured losses from disasters in the first three months this year are more than any entire year on record except for 2005, when Hurricane Katrina struck, Schrast said.

Unlike last year, when many of the disasters were in poor countries such as Haiti and Pakistan, this year’s catastrophes have struck richer areas, including Australia, Japan and the United States.

The problem is so big that insurers, emergency managers, public officials and academics from around the world are gathering Wednesday in Washington for a special three-day National Academy of Sciences summit to figure out how to better understand and manage extreme events.

The idea is that these events keep happening, and with global warming they should occur more often, so society has to learn to adapt, said former astronaut Kathryn Sullivan, NOAA’s deputy chief.

Sullivan, a scientist, said launching into space gave her a unique perspective on Earth’s “extraordinary scale and power and both extraordinary elegance and finesse.”

“We are part of it. We do affect it,” Sullivan said. “But it surely affects us on a daily basis — sometimes with very powerful punches.” – Yahoo.com

Be prepared for the worst nature has to offer, not only from the sea and beneath this planet’s surface, but also from the unexpected that lies just ahead.

Jeremiah 15:8 “I made their widows more numerous than the sand of the seas. I brought against the mother of young men a destroyer at noon. I suddenly released on her agitation and terrors.”

Hosea 10:14 “the roar of battle will rise against your people, and all your fortifications will be demolished in a day of war, like Shalman’s destruction of Beth arbel. Mothers will be dashed to pieces along with [their] children.”

Watch what will soon wash up from the dying seas. A deadly brew is fermenting and will soon surface. Your coastlines will become stagnated with the death toll.

Learn who is against the nations:

Jeremiah 51:25 “Look, I am against you, devastating mountain— [this is] the LORD’s declaration— you devastate the whole earth. I will stretch out My hand against you, roll you down from the cliffs, and turn you into a burned out mountain.”

Is climate change making us crazy?

August 30, 2011 1 comment

A new report warns that droughts and floods can fuel severe mental-health problems like anxiety, depression, and even suicide.

Scientists worldwide are forecasting severe drought, unprecedented flooding, and scorching heat waves as a result of climate change. One thing that’s often overlooked in these discussions, however, is the effect that climate change may have on our mental health. But researchers in Australia have just published a reportA Climate of Suffering: The Real Cost of Living with Inaction on Climate Change, that gives us some new clues. Here, a brief guide to this research:

How could climate change affect our sanity?
First, natural disasters like hurricanes and floods have a profound impact on individual suffering. As a result of these disasters, as many as one in five people could suffer from anxiety, depression, suicide, domestic violence, or substance abuse, say the report’s authors. Months after tropical cyclone Larry struck Australia in 2006, for example, more than one in 10 primary school children reported symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). And in some rural Australian communities, the suicide rate has jumped by 8 percent since a massive drought took hold several years ago.

What other impacts are expected?
For years-long disasters, researchers have observed the long-term collapse of community solidarity. For instance, during and after events like the prolonged drought that has gripped Australia for more than a decade, there’s “a breakdown of social cohesion caused by loss of work and associated stability,” says Erik Jensen in the Sydney Morning Herald.

Who is most vulnerable to these problems?
Children are particularly susceptible to mental health issues like pre-disaster anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. And the long-term mental health effects of climate change are likely to be felt strongest inpoorer countries and in rural areas within industrialized nations, the study finds, since these places have the least access to mental health services.

Aren’t natural disasters like hurricanes and droughts normal?
Yes, but not with the intensity and frequency many areas of the world are now seeing. ”While cyclones, drought, bushfires [wildfires], and floods are all a normal part of Australian life, there is no doubt our climate is changing,” say the report’s authors. ”For instance, the intensity and frequency of bushfires is greater. This is a ‘new normal’, for which the past provides little guidance.” – The Week

Yes, the climate is changing – but it’s at the same time much more than just “climate change”, as many would hope and expect us to believe. Extreme weather has become the norm because we are currently in the Tribulation, and have been now for several years. And Yahweh, who is also Mother Nature, delivers Her messages via Her nature. We are a world under judgment – every nation on the planet – and Yahweh will continue to deliver Her wrath until the time Armageddon begins. Father is moving this world of people towards all out anarchy as the Wrath grows near for execution of His vengeance upon those that will be left behind in this world.

UN security council to consider climate change peacekeeping

July 21, 2011 Comments off

A special meeting of the United Nations security council is due to consider whether to expand its mission to keep the peace in an era of climate change.

Small island states, which could disappear beneath rising seas, are pushing the security council to intervene to combat the threat to their existence.

There has been talk, meanwhile, of a new environmental peacekeeping force – green helmets – which could step into conflicts caused by shrinking resources.

The UN secretary general, Ban Ki-Moon, is expected to address the meeting on Wednesday.

But Germany, which called the meeting, has warned it is premature to expect the council to take the plunge into green peacemaking or even adopt climate change as one of its key areas of concern.

“It is too early to seriously think about council action on climate change. This is clearly not on the agenda,” Germany’s ambassador to the UN, Peter Wittig, wrote in the Huffington Post.

“A good first step would be to acknowledge the realities of climate change and its inherent implications to international peace and security,” he wrote.

Bringing the security council up to speed on climate change could be a challenge, however.

The Pentagon and other military establishments have long recognised climate change as a “threat multiplier” with the potential to escalate existing conflicts, and create new disputes as food, water, and arable land become increasingly scarce. – guardian.co.uk

The United Nations, though imperfect, reflects Satan’s copying of the Seraphic Order that is at the top of the list and is used to keep creations in subjection to Yahweh by following governed law. Satan uses his proxy as a threat to rogue nations that do not follow established protocol. When necessary, he uses his other pawns to bring punishment to bear against those that resist his guidelines laid out for trying to keep his family in harmony.

The USA serving as his guidepost for what he would like the world of other governments to resemble, is why the USA tries to impose its “rights” and “laws” upon other nations that do not act in accordance of what is expected. When counties lose wars to Satan’s prototype, and they are reorganized, such as Japan and Germany, Satan models them closely to his own brand of or “way” of life that reflects his prized child – the USA. Since Satan’s demons serve as princes over his different kingdom States, they are expected to try and help bring them into harmony with his prototype.

But Yahweh will not permit harmony, and this is why the variations of beliefs and ruler-ships exist within Satan’s kingdom. Yahweh will permit no successful foundation to rule except that of Christ Jesus. Since Satan will not give way to that truth, Yahweh knows that eventually they all must be crushed and put asunder.

Australian children are being terrified by climate change lessons

July 10, 2011 Comments off

PRIMARY school children are being terrified by lessons claiming climate change will bring “death, injury and destruction” to the world unless they take action.

On the eve of Prime Minister Julia Gillard’s carbon tax package announcement, psychologists and scientists said the lessons were alarmist, created unneeded anxiety among school children and endangered their mental health.

Climate change as a “Doomsday scenario” is being taught in classrooms across Australia.

Resource material produced by the Gillard government for primary school teachers and students states climate change will cause “devastating disasters”.

Australian National University’s Centre for the Public Awareness of Science director Dr Sue Stocklmayer said climate change had been portrayed as “Doomsday scenarios with no way out”.

From 2009: “Part of Seraiah’s assignment is to make Babylon the Great recognize that they are about to take a hard fall. There will never be a day on the international news cast that speaks of anything good happening on this planet to do with weather or other natural phenomena such as earthquakes and volcanic activity. Soon, they will question what is causing so much revolt in nature, but some of Dawn Lucifer’s human agents will try to sooth the public awareness by saying it is the earth going through a recycling stage that will eventually even itself out. For many, they will take no notice of the truth of what is about to befall them any more than they did in Noah’s pre-flood era, but all will be infuriated as the world they once knew is no longer hospitable.”
Psalm 147:17 “He throws His hailstones like crumbs. Who can withstand His cold?” Who can withstand anything Father decides to throw evil mankind’s way? No one.

A 2004 secret report warned of catastrophes and coming global upheaval

July 8, 2011 Comments off

This is a chilling article and we reexamine what was written some 7 years ago, in 2004, in light of recent earthchanges. Here’s the UK article in part that appeared in the Guardian: Climate change over the next 20 years could result in a global catastrophe costing millions of lives in wars and natural disasters. A secret report, suppressed by US defense chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a ‘Siberian’ climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world. The document predicts that abrupt climate change could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies. The threat to global stability vastly eclipses that of terrorism; say the few experts privy to its contents. ‘Disruption and conflict will be endemic features of life,’ concludes the Pentagon analysis. ‘Once again, warfare would define human life.’ The findings will prove humiliating to the Bush administration, which has repeatedly denied that climate change even exists. Experts said that they will also make unsettling reading for a President who has insisted national defense is a priority. The report was commissioned by influential Pentagon defense adviser Andrew Marshall, who has held considerable sway on US military thinking over the past three decades. He was the man behind a sweeping recent review aimed at transforming the American military under Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. Climate change ‘should be elevated beyond a scientific debate to a US national security concern’, say the authors, Peter Schwartz, CIA consultant and former head of planning at Royal Dutch/Shell Group, and Doug Randall of the California-based Global Business Network. An imminent scenario of catastrophic climate change is ‘plausible and would challenge United States national security in ways that should be considered immediately’, they conclude. As early as next year, widespread flooding by a rise in sea levels will create major upheaval for millions. Already, according to Randall and Schwartz, the planet is carrying a higher population than it can sustain. By 2020 ‘catastrophic’ shortages of water and energy supply will become increasingly harder to overcome, plunging the planet into war. They warn that 8,200 years ago climatic conditions brought widespread crop failure, famine, disease and mass migration of populations that could soon be repeated. Randall told The Observer that the potential ramifications of rapid climate change would create global chaos. ‘This is depressing stuff,’ he said. ‘It is a national security threat that is unique because there is no enemy to point your guns at and we have no control over the threat.’ Randall added that it was already possibly too late to prevent a disaster happening. ‘We don’t know exactly where we are in the process. It could start tomorrow and we would not know for another five years,’ he said. –Guardian UK, February 22, 2004

2006 Spooks episode Aftermath: When a North Sea tidal surge threatens to flood London, an eco-terror group, Divine Earth take control of the Thames Barrier, rig it with explosives and threaten to blow it unless the government publishes a report called, “Aftermath,” which states that the since the world cannot prevent the ensuing catastrophes that will happen as a result of climate change, it would instead develop strategies to benefit from their aftermath by Britain and America militarily positioning themselves to control the world’s remaining resources before the crisis engulfed the Earth.

Do any of you really believe that the nations, those world governments now in power, do not know what is really going on? Yahweh has already twice given them an opportunity to raise the white flag but the deadline to do so has come and gone. Father will continue with Her Plan to destroy all nations that resist Her Son’s Sovereign Authority as Ruling King of Her creation.

Plague Could Worsen With Climate Change

June 17, 2011 Comments off

It seems the wetter things are the more plague there will be.

A new study, conducted by Chinese and Norwegian scientists, seems to suggest a connection between wetter climates and larger outbreaks of plague, according to LiveScience. As a result, as climates become wetter, the more likely it is that plague can spread.

Luckily, the bacteria that causes plague can be treated with antibiotics.

From LiveScience:

A bacterium called Yersinia pestis, which is carried by rodents, is responsible for three types of plague: bubonic (also called Black Death), septicemic and pneumonic plague. Together, these illnesses have been responsible for the deaths of millions of people the world over, including an estimated third of Europe’s population during the Middle Ages. While modern antibiotics can effectively treat plague, thousands of cases are still reported each year to the World Health Organization, and the bacterium has been identified as a possible biological warfare agent.

The study looked at historical data to determine a correlation between the amount of precipitation and the spread of the disease. The team looked at figures from outbreaks in 1850 and 1964, when 1.6 million people became ill, as well as 500 years of data from 120 locations across China.

This study falls pretty much in line with previous studies that contended that climate change would lead to decreased plague outbreaks in drier areas, according to Reuters. In September 2008 a study said that as climate change created drier climates in the Western U.S., reported cases of the disease were expected to decrease.

The coming epidemics from tainted water will begin to spread shortly. Hospitals will be overwhelmed by the sheer number of people that are infected. Boiling water is still the best defense against water born diseases, and should also be boiled to bathe with. People living in flooded areas should follow this precaution.

The animal kingdom will also suffer from the effects. Those with pets in the infected areas should boil their drinking water also. Pets that are permitted free range will become infected. Livestock will also be at risk from the new strains of bacteria that are in the toxic brew if permitted to drink the tainted water.

The Antijaboks have done their work. You are now forewarned of what to expect.

Floods, Droughts Are ‘New Normal’

May 24, 2011 Comments off

Heavy rains, deep snowfalls, monster floods and killing droughts are signs of a “new normal” of extreme U.S. weather events fueled by climate change, scientists and government planners said on Wednesday.

“It’s a new normal and I really do think that global weirding is the best way to describe what we’re seeing,” climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe of Texas Tech University told reporters.

“We are used to certain conditions and there’s a lot going on these days that is not what we’re used to, that is outside our current frame of reference,” Hayhoe said on a conference call with other experts, organized by the non-profit Union of Concerned Scientists.

An upsurge in heavy rainstorms in the United States has coincided with prolonged drought, sometimes in the same location, she said, noting that west Texas has seen a record-length dry period over the last five years, even as there have been two 100-year rain events.

This so called “New Normal” is called the Tribulation. It is judgment upon mankind. It is God’s wrath, and it leads to Armageddon.

China reporting climate worsening

May 24, 2011 Comments off

China’s reporting climate is deteriorating, a Beijing-based foreign press club said Thursday in a survey that found some overseas journalists were told to tone down coverage or risk visa problems.

The survey of 108 members of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of China said 94 percent believed Chinese reporting conditions had worsened over the past year, with some citing increasing official pressure.

A spokeswoman for the foreign ministry — which handles relations with overseas media members residing in China — rejected the findings, telling a regular press briefing that freedom of reporting had “expanded”.

However, 70 percent of survey respondents said they experienced “interference, harassment and/or violence in the past year.”

Another 40 percent reported that some of their Chinese sources had been “harassed, detained, called in for questioning or otherwise suffered negative consequences for interacting with foreign journalists.”

“In 14 years reporting in China this is by far the most violent period,” one respondent was quoted as saying in the results, which were emailed to members.

“The nature of physical harassment is much worse. Across the board, uniform and plainclothes police, local authorities and even private citizens now feel it is possible to prevent foreign reporters from doing their work.”

Those of you that are double-minded, inclined to think you are of Christ because you believe what you have been taught as tradition, though you see the nature on this planet causing havoc, and Yahweh is NATURE – you are inclined to shadow your mind with darkness in your way of thinking “I’m not evil. God will not destroy me.” But you are forgetting that Satan also believes he is not evil, and so you prove yourselves to be his children because your minds share a common belief that is a LIE.

James 4:8 “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, double-minded people!”

Can you draw near before it’s to late? Yahweh is progressively revealing that She is the Source of what this world is presently experiencing in TRIBULATION. No one is here to force you to accept the TRUTH. That must come from within your own logic and be embedded within your heart, that Yahweh is dead serious about removing everyone and everything that has Satan’s footprint upon it. If you think that you are not under foot, then continue on with your belief. That is your right given to you by Yahweh as a freewill creation. But if you truly desire to walk in the light:

1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

Otherwise, you will be part of what is being cleansed away, because you remain in sin, and that is being removed from creation.

Wind and waves growing across globe: study

March 25, 2011 Comments off

Published in Science, the study is the most comprehensive of its kind ever undertaken.

Other authors include Swinburne University oceanographers Professor Alex Babanin and Dr Stefan Zieger.

“Careful analysis of satellite data shows that extreme oceanic wind speeds and ocean wave heights have increased dramatically over the last 23 years,” Professor Young said.

“Off the southern coast of Australia, the highest one per cent of waves have increased in height from approximately five metres to almost six metres over the last 20 years”

“Extreme conditions are where we are seeing the largest increases, but mean conditions are also going up.

“Extreme wind speeds have increased over most of the globe by approximately 10 per cent over the last 20 years, or 0.5 per cent every year.

“Extreme wave heights have increased by an average of seven per cent over the last 20 years, or 0.25 per cent a year in equatorial regions and 0.5 per cent a year in higher latitudes.

“The results have potential impact on the design of coastal buildings and other structures as well as shipping. They could also have a profound effect on the transfer of energy (heat) between the sea and the atmosphere – one of the great unknowns of climate change.

When the sea life dies, another disaster comes into play; the evaporation of the sea waters to form rain will become out of balance except for rare occasions of rain, and then torrential floods in other areas; the rains will carry with it disease because of the deadly brew that has culminated from a dead sea of carcasses; and the lack of a normally rain cooled environment will give way to scorching heat waves of such a magnitude that it will be like this:

Revelation 16:8, 9 “The Fourth Bowl
The fourth poured out his bowl on the sun. He was given the power to burn people with fire, and people were burned by the intense heat. So they blasphemed the name of God who had the power over these plagues, and they did not repent and give Him glory.”
