20 Signs That A Horrific Global Food Crisis Is Coming
The following are 20 signs that a horrific global food crisis is coming….
#1 According to the World Bank, 44 million people around the globe have been pushed into extreme poverty since last June because of rising food prices.
#2 The world is losing topsoil at an astounding rate. In fact, according to Lester Brown, “one third of the world’s cropland is losing topsoil faster than new soil is forming through natural processes”.
#3 Due to U.S. ethanol subsidies, almost a third of all corn grown in the United States is now used for fuel. This is putting a lot of stress on the price of corn.
#4 Due to a lack of water, some countries in the Middle East find themselves forced to almost totally rely on other nations for basic food staples. For example, it is being projected that there will be no more wheat production in Saudi Arabia by the year 2012.
#5 Water tables all over the globe are being depleted at an alarming rate due to “overpumping”. According to the World Bank, there are 130 million people in China and 175 million people in India that are being fed with grain with water that is being pumped out of aquifers faster than it can be replaced. So what happens once all of that water is gone?
#6 In the United States, the systematic depletion of the Ogallala Aquifercould eventually turn “America’s Breadbasket” back into the “Dust Bowl”.
#7 Diseases such as UG99 wheat rust are wiping out increasingly large segments of the world food supply.
#8 The tsunami and subsequent nuclear crisis in Japan have rendered vast agricultural areas in that nation unusable. In fact, there are many that believe that eventually a significant portion of northern Japan will be considered to beuninhabitable. Not only that, many are now convinced that the Japanese economy, the third largest economy in the world, is likely to totally collapse as a result of all this.
#9 The price of oil may be the biggest factor on this list. The way that we produce our food is very heavily dependent on oil. The way that we transport our food is very heavily dependent on oil. When you have skyrocketing oil prices, our entire food production system becomes much more expensive. If the price of oil continues to stay high, we are going to see much higher food prices and some forms of food production will no longer make economic sense at all.
#10 At some point the world could experience a very serious fertilizer shortage. According to scientists with the Global Phosphorus Research Initiative, the world is not going to have enough phosphorous to meet agricultural demand in just 30 to 40 years.
#11 Food inflation is already devastating many economies around the globe. For example, India is dealing with an annual food inflation rate of 18 percent.
#12 According to the United Nations, the global price of food reached a new all-time high in February.
#13 According to the World Bank, the global price of food has risen 36% over the past 12 months.
#14 The commodity price of wheat has approximately doubled since last summer.
#15 The commodity price of corn has also about doubled since last summer.
#16 The commodity price of soybeans is up about 50% since last June.
#17 The commodity price of orange juice has doubled since 2009.
#18 There are about 3 billion people around the globe that live on the equivalent of 2 dollars a day or less and the world was already on the verge ofeconomic disaster before this year even began.
#19 2011 has already been one of the craziest years since World War 2. Revolutions have swept across the Middle East, the United States has gotten involved in the civil war in Libya, Europe is on the verge of a financial meltdown and the U.S. dollar is dying. None of this is good news for global food production.
#20 There have been persistent rumors of shortages at some of the biggest suppliers of emergency food in the United States. The following is an excerpt from a recent “special alert” posted on Raiders News Network….
Look around you. Read the headlines. See the largest factories of food, potassium iodide, and other emergency product manufacturers literally closing their online stores and putting up signs like those on Mountain House’s Official Website and Thyrosafe’s Factory Webpage that explain, due to overwhelming demand, they are shutting down sales for the time being and hope to reopen someday.
So what does all of this mean?
It means that time is short. – Read More at PecanGroup.org
The one world currency will soon come into reality, and shortages of food and other items of rationing will require that anyone whom purchases them must have complied with the world government’s mandate so that no one can steal someone else identity and purchase additional items so as to hoard or black market them. Enters the new age of Satan’s mark of the beast. 666 representing the number of a man, being in alignment with Satan as the new ruling authority over all of mankind. Computer chips will be implanted, or Satan’s law will dictate that those refusing must be eliminated.
1. Many people that fall fast in extreme poverty yes are vulnerable because they may not be use to finding alternative food sources, Most people that starve do not starve from poverty, but over land and cultural, and community disputes and war.
2. The earth may actually be gaining top soil from “star dust” in natural areas, growing crops threw industrial methods also produces food that many people are gaining alergys to at an alarming rate like GMO’s and do not really produce good proteins. In very volcanic areas the soil is always increasing, and on small pieces of land one acer or permaculture land can produce 40 times more food then the industrial farms.
3. Corn again is a extremely poor quality food and should not be considered as a food to feed a population, for 100’s of years many cultures have forgotten to burn and roast the corn and add ash in order to release the nutrients.
4. Wheat may actually be a slave food that the egyptians used to feed the slaves and keep there protein levels down to avoid the slaves from realizing they are equally to the kings and queens. Suadia arabia may have little water, but it is a wealthy country and with the water id does have it could produce spiralling and other crops.
5. Yes water levels in the ground are droping, and this will effect more petroleum production, Fresh drinking water could have been started to be produced with help of the world bank, but they did not want a abundance of water coming from tree planted mountains, rather instead they builds dam’s to control and sell water, this lack of water will be the key trigger that will libirate us from the ignorance and control of the world bank. people will not have to die of thirst but there will be fuel shortages, and this will trigger change and end our dependence on oil, as we will be forced to do things in new ways like cuba.
6. with the lack of irrigation water, it will force farmers to not turn over there soils and have to go back to more native weed like grass grains that do not need water, so that then Aquifer’s in the grond can replenish themselves. The native grains and grass will be higly nutritious, and small amount will feed a person, and farmers will be paid according to nutrient amounts not for mass volume weight GMO grains.
7. Dissease is essential to wipe out the over use of a Mono culture crop like wheat to remind farmers that they have to grow mixed crops and will have to stop listening to corporate bankers tell them how to farm, and farmers will return to be the inventors or ones that learn from nature.
8. If Japan collapses it will have little effect on the world food production, Countrys may now be able to force Japan to stop pulling there ocean drag nets threw the oceans so then the ocean food production will go up. The fault of the poorly designed nuclear plants is on the back of the GENERAL ELECTRIC Investors, where most of the investors come from the USA this will create even more low confidence in US corporations, this means that investments are being pulled home, where it will produce small companies like the ones producing organic food abundance.
9. It is good that petroleum will be too expensive to produce food, but we have a huge natural resource around the world called “human beings” they produce naturally excellent fertilizers, and the health of human increases when he or she is physically growing food without a tractor.
10. Ok there will not be a fertilizer shortage, nutrients are recycled threw the use of human manure,
11. It will be good that economical systems collapse so we return to what is important, and high food prices helps people want to farm again.
12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. < just as I said above!
19. we are in a wonderful period of liberation, where food production is no longer controlled by authority and corporations and the UN or world bank.
20 The USA is placing liquidation underground as invetors close factorsy, due to the economical problems, the underground storage is like a " gold vault" but the problem is any food or water stored too long becomes very unhealthy, humans need 90percent fresh fruits and vegetables.
